From June 22-24, 2007 the last FPHS Reunion was held after over four years of planning, preparation, and consultation. The work done then, will contribute greatly to future reunions and we thank the following individuals for their time and dedication prior to, and during, the 2007 event.
A great deal of work and research goes into getting all of this information onto the website and into the planning of a reunion. Much of the information has come from the Ottawa Room at the Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library in Ottawa, where references to news articles and dates were found in the Ottawa High School Scrapbook as well as archived copies of Fi Pa Hi, the Fisher yearbook. The Ottawa room has copies of 31 of the 38 yearbooks published by Fisher.
Most of the articles were obtained from microfiche copies, also at the Ottawa Public Library, and primarily from the Evening Citizen, the Ottawa Citizen and the now-defunct Ottawa Journal. Ottawa Citizen articles since 1985 are available on the Internet via the Canadian NewsStand service offered by ProQuest, for which you need an Ottawa Public Library card.
