FisherPark.net was established in 2004 to facilitate the reunion held June 22-24, 2007 of all graduating years from Fisher Park High School (1949-1987). In 2012 the site was moved onto the WordPress platform in order to enable more content and easier integration with modern social media platforms, and also to assist in the planning of another Reunion planned for 2014, 65 years after the High School first opened.
Thousands of alumni worldwide attended the 2007 reunion and since then, social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIN have grown substantially and will hopefully make the job of notifying graduates of a pending reunion much easier.
What this site is NOT, is an official site for the current Fisher Park Public School, nor is this website (fisherpark.net) affiliated in any way with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB), Fisher Park Public School, Summit Alternative school, or any of the community programs run at the current facility located at 250 Holland Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
